Your gut is screaming for mercy! Lay off the processed junk food and fast food. Increase your water intake, take digestive enzymes and probiotics, increase your whole food intake and keep a food journal to detect food sensitivities and the possibility of a leaky gut.
Sorry, but all those greasy cheesy appetizers followed by your favorite alcoholic beverage may be the culprit. This area is also a strong sign of a food allergy. Keeping your liver detoxed gently every day and getting enough sleep will help this area.
4 & 5 Kidneys:
Cut out the cola and sugary drinks and keep those kidneys flushed with by adding lemon essential oil to your drinking water for a nice daily detox.
Make sure your cholesterol levels and blood pressure are normal. Replace unhealthy partially hydrogenated fat with healthy omega 3 fats found in raw nuts, avocados, fish and flaxseed.
7 & 8 Kidneys:
Yes, kidneys again! Cut the caffeine and increase your water intake.
9 & 10 Respiratory System:
Keep those airways clear. If congested, cut down on dairy products. Allergies? Although, over the counter antihistamines are readily available, there are natural remedies that won't burden your liver or kidneys. Also, adding more cooling and alkaline foods like green veggies will reduce acidity.
11 & 12 Hormones:
Hormonal changes combined with stress are a double whammy in this zone. Cutting down on sugar and caffeine will help with hormonal swings. Be kind to yourself and get plenty of rest. Relaxation techniques and aromatherapy are an excellent way to combat major hormonal fluctuations.
Suffering with constipation, diarrhea, acid indigestion and/or bloating? These are not normal and are another way that your body is crying for help. Consult with a Certified Health Coach and your primary care doctor to dig deeper into the causes of these symptoms.
Bacterial infections can sometimes show up here. This is a sign that your body is fighting something and needs much needed rest. Gentle stretching, yoga and plenty of sleep will give your body the break that it needs.
